Energy-Saving Products
Owens Corning is leading the way in meeting the need for increased energy efficiency by delivering multiple product solutions, such as fiber glass insulation and solar-reflecting roofing shingles. More information

Recycling
Owens Corning uses a minimum of 58% recycled glass content in our light density insulation products consisting of  at least 36% post-consumer content, such as bottles from curbside recycling programs,  and 22% post-industrial content, also known as factory waste (from other manufacturers).  This is the highest certified level of recycled content in the insulation industry. Our fiberglass insulation products used in commercial applications have 55% post-industrial recycled content and our XPS foam insulation has 20% post-industrial recycled content, all third party certified.  In addition, we’re the first roofing manufacturer to establish a program for recycling shingles.
