Employee Safety
In 2010, Owens Corning reduced its safety incident rate by 21 percent and improved its Safety Assessment for Effectiveness score by 4 percent, when compared to 2009. Additionally, 10 manufacturing sites have worked five or more years injury-free. More information.
Fiber Safety & MSDS
Extensive research demonstrates Owens Corning insulation glass fibers are safe, including a new U.S. National Toxicology Program report that removed glass fibers from its list of possible carcinogens. Environmental Footprint
Owens Corning has made significant progress toward our 2012 environmental footprint goals, which includes seven different focus areas.
