Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design

Owens Corning products can contribute to LEED® points. LEED, is a program developed by the U.S. Green Building Council. Established in 1994, LEED is a national certification system designed to transform the built environment to sustainability by providing the building industry with consistent, credible standards for what constitutes a green building. Its points system focuses on the entire build for existing and new construction, not specifically on the products used to create them.
While initially a green rating system for the commercial industry, USGBC now has a LEED for Homes guideline and other residential and community development.
Owens Corning is committed to the LEED program, and other efforts that promote sustainable and green design and building. Specifying the right products puts your project on the right track for LEED Certification. Owens Corning provides LEED reference materials, helping project teams specify the best products for LEED Certification.
For more than 70 years, Owens Corning has led the building industry with innovative products and building materials solutions. For more information about LEED certification, call 1-800-GET-PINK™ (1-800-428-7465 ).
